"Valdez, 33, created and launched www.8bitfix.com on May 26, 2007. It provides gamers the latest news, reviews, chats and streams, podcasts, forums and blogs.

"I am on it pretty much all day," said Valdez, a stay-at-home mom. "I'll take breaks to help my kids with their homework or if I need to take care of my baby, I can step away from it at anytime."

The inclusive aspect of her site is the lure for many.
