  • 16 Minute Project X Zone Trailer, Special Edition features

A new trailer of the 3DS collab, Project X Zone, has surfaced and it is a long one. The 16 minute trailer explains a lot in the mechanics, shows off some of the cutscenes and dialog, and majority of the trailer shows the special combos you can do with assigned teams and solo characters. Though the trailer is fully in Japaneses, from what I can tell the combat is done by pressing the A button and using the pad in different directions during the action to do combos, Support Attacks, and Critical Attacks. The game as we already know has an RPG element with explore and fighting enemies and the trailer explains more about that and how to construct teams. Though the game does not have many recognizable characters from the states there are a few you may. The game has characters from the Street Fighter, Darkstalkers, Megaman, Dead Rising, Devil May Cry, Resident Evil, Tekken, Virtual Fighter, Space Chanel 5, Tales of Vesperia and a few other series we may recognize (most seem to be from Capcom.) While it doesn't look that the game will be released for the states, there still may be a chance it will. The game is release October 11 of this year in Japan, so if you have a Japaneses region 3DS then the will be available very soon to you.

At the end of the trailer you see that the game will have a Special Edition which features a boxed case with the game in it and a Crossover Soundoothrek Shedee (soundtrack CD) which will feature new renditions of songs from games that some of the characters represent. The special edition will also come with a Strategy Guide with character bios and artwork.
