The Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy HD has been announced today. Something to be very excited about, wright? Not necessarily; it was announced for the wrong platform.....iOS.
Okay, don't get me wrong, I don't mind such a fantastic title reaching a broader audience, but give back to those who adore the franchise and release it on the 3DS.
The Trilogy will include:
- Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
- Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Justice for All
- Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations
The games that were enjoyed on the DS will be available on iOS devices that run the minimum of iOS 5.0. with "re-mastered HD graphics as well as responsive on-screen controls fine-tuned for the iOS platform allowing for easy navigation using simple swipe commands", announced Capcom.
An "Everyone Object” mode will also be included, at no additional cost, and will "help players communicate their displeasure of everyday situations with the help of popular Ace Attorney characters and sayings. With a simple touch of a button, the phrases, "Objection!", "Hold it!", and "Take that!" can be emailed to friends or tweeted along with an animated image," explains Capcom.
The PR email states:
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy HD will be available for download for free this Fall on iOS devices (iOS 5.0 is required to run the application), with each full game in the trilogy available for purchase individually or as a bundle. The first two chapters of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney will be available as a free demo.
