When is taking something some one said too far? Well in the UK a 46 year old man found out the hard way by tracking down a 13 year old boy and attacking him in revenge for taunting him during a session of Call of Duty Black Ops on PS3 and is now facing jail time.
“I’d been playing the whole day and he was baiting me and just would not shut up,” explained Bradford. “I just lost it. In a moment of madness I went round to the house. I didn’t know what I was going to do.”
After attacking the young boy Bradford left, and was later picked up by the police because of a call from the boys mother. She later told the press, “It’s pathetic that a grown man would attack a defenceless child like this. If you can’t handle losing to a child then you shouldn’t be playing games. I know Bradford and went straight round when I found out what had happened. I was fuming. But rather than have it out with him I got the police involved.”
The boy admitted to pushing Bradford's buttons saying, “I was just playing. We’d had a bit of a joke and then he stormed in and grabbed me. I didn’t know what was going on.”
Bradford has since apologized for the attack, which thankfully left little more than a scratch. He has also admitted assault to the courts, and is currently awaiting sentencing.
