Capcom Teams Up With GREE And Announces Capcom All-Stars + Other Game
What happens when you put a social network and a video game company together? You get the announcment of a series games coming from Capcom and the Japaneses social network GREE. Yesterday it was announced that one of the games will be Capcom All-Stars and this game in old Capcom fashion will be a game that crosses-over there video game franchises. From the promotional picture it seems we will have characters from Street Fighter, Darkstalkers, Resident Evil, Megaman, Devil May Cry, Okami and even the Ace Attorney series. While it is not said what kind of game this will be the art of the game has a resemblance to a previous cross over came called Pocket Fighter. Though it seems the chances seem slim that this will be a fighter or even come to the states, it will probably be a game that will have a lot of social interaction. Maybe a party game, who knows?
Also five other games were announce, three of which will be coming internationally.
The first is what seems to be a Japaneses only tittle called Daikoukai Frontier. This is pretty shocking cause it features a character that Capcom made up for Marvel Vs Capcom 2, named Ruby Heart.
The next being a game called Soul Hunter this for sure being Japaneses only and going to be released October 10th in Japan. This game has a bit of detail, it will be a social network game where you try to become the most powerful "Soul Hunter" at a school. You have to collect cards in order to face demons. All I have to say is whats with Capcom and games with "Hunter" in them?
These next ones are all coming to the states for sure first being Resident Evil VS, Dead Rising: The Survival, and Monster Hunter: Massive Hunting (theres that "Hunt" word again.) Though there are no details towards these games chances are they may play like their previous games.
