It is about four weeks before the August 19th launch of New Super Mario Bros. 2 and Nintendo wants to celebrate the entire month by declaring it the Month of Mario. To celebrate, Nintendo will be offering the fans some discounts.
To kick things off with the festivities, Nintendo will be making one Mario game per week available at a discount in the Nintendo eShop.
Here is the schedule:
July 26 - Aug. 1 Super Mario Bros. $3.99
Aug. 2 - Aug. 8 Super Mario Land $2.99
Aug. 9 - Aug. 15 Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins $2.99
Aug. 16 - Aug. 22 Mario's Picross $2.99
That is not all, Nintendo wants to continue the savings by giving you double the coins if you pick up New Super Mario Bros. 2 via the Nintendo eShop. Instead of 50 points, you will get 100. Full details can be read HERE.
New Super Mario Bros. 2 will be available for the Nintendo 3DS and for the Wii on August 19.
