I've been dying to see some more footage of Dead Space 3 since glimpsing the first previews of actual gameplay at E3. The E3 material was quite good and was also exciting to see a brief look into the next horrific journey of Isaac Clark's mission to discover the truth behind the cause of the necromorph outbreaks: the marker. Many replicas have been created, but they had to be based on the one original marker.
I couldn't wait to see more footage of the game. Whether gameplay or cinematic trailer, it doesn't matter. Well here's the next trailer for the game which debuted at Gamescom. In it we can still see Isaac Clark struggling to keep hold of his sanity as he talks to himself, causing concern for his new partner, and playable co-op character, Sergeant John Carver.
Dead Space 3 brings Isaac to the frozen planet of Tau Volantis, where two hundred years earlier a necromorph outbreak occurred and they slaughtered all in a small government outpost stationed on the planet. Because of the harsh weather conditions of the planet, the necromorphs went into hibernation... and wait there still. Two hundred years later, Isaac Clark and Ellie Langford have arrived on Tau Volantis to find the truth about the marker and why the artifact was created and then buried away by the government. If they uncover these secrets they would also have a way to stop the necromorph plague once and for all.
