For those who are still curious about Diablo III but could not get into the beta or gain access to a guest pass, Battle.net is willing to give you a chance to give the game a try. Starting today, Battle.net is offering a free download of the game client for those with accounts. The game play segment will run up through the first boss, the Skeleton King, and players will have a cap at level 13. Other restrictions include no access to the Auction House (gold or real money) and a limited matchmaking system for Starter users only. Naturally, purchasing the game will lift the restrictions.
