Just announced today, DOOM 3: BFG Edition will become available to Sony PlayStation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360, and of course PC. For all of us old school FPS folk, we can respect the DOOM franchise on this one. They've remastered DOOM, DOOM 2, DOOM 3, and DOOM 3: Resurrection of Evil for PlayStation 3, to be played in 3D. One should get a sweet thrill with the 3D thrown in to the mix, as if they were playing it for the first time all over again. Being an FPS gamer for as long as I have, I think this is a pretty sweet collector's item. Doom 3: BFG Edition, will become available sometime later this year.
