Looks like developer WayForward and publisher Majesco have just about completed their work on the latest and arguably the greatest entry in the Double Dragon saga Double Dragon Neon.
WayForward has announced an official release date for the title that's scheduled to elbow the Playstation Network on September 11th, 2012. Xbox 360 owners can download the game beginning September 12th. The price for entry into this halcyon brawler heaven is a mere $9.99 or 800 Microsoft points.
WayForward brought the stomp back to the Contra series, delivered stark, emotional purpose with Boy and His Blob, and is currently redefining the Silent Hill universe with Silent Hill Book Of Memories. This is a developer at the very peak of their powers. Double Dragon Neon looks to be yet another high watermark for this incomparable bunch of dedicated coders.
