• Dragon Quest X on Wii Coming in August

Japan-amaniacs are going to be a lucky group as they are receiving Dragon Quest X for the Wii. The title has been announced today, by Square Enix, that Japan will be receiving this greatly anticipated title on August 2nd for the Wii. They will also be offering two different bundle options for the game along with offering a new "Kid Time" feature.

The first bundle, which would just be the standard game really, is going to be retailing at ¥6,980, or at $86 and would still need to utilize their own memory card to play the game with at least 16GB of free space. The second bundle option includes the necessary USB memory card and can be picked for ¥8,980 or $111. Both bundles are including a free 20-day online pass, as the game is subscription based.

After you've used up your 20-day pass, you will be able to purchase different subscription options with a credit card or also by simply consuming Wii Points with Nintendo points cards. The online subscription options include:
      • 30 days - ¥1,000 ($12)
      • 60 days - ¥1,950 ($24)
      • 90 days - ¥2,900 ($35)
"Kid Time" is a new feature being introduced and it will allow for kids to play online for free. The catch is that they will only be able to play for a specific period of time at once. Not sure if that will be adjustable or if it is a fixed time allowance across the board.

No reports as to whether or not if Dragon Quest X will be going to the Wii U or if it will be coming to North America or Europe as of yet. So soak up this juicy news, and Game On!
