• Epic Mickey 2 - The Power of Storytelling Official Disney Trailer

Junction Point takes us behind-the-scenes with Disney Epic Mickey 2 : The Power of Two. Creative Director, Warren Spector, talks about his experience working with Marvel Comics' Editor-In-Chief, Marv Wolfman. He is the comic book writer responsible for bringing Blade to Marvel Comics and working on The New Teen Titans for DC Comics. Being one of the first story editors for Disney Adventures magazine allowed him to have a deep understanding of the Disney universe.

Bryan Freyermuth, Senior Designer for Junction Point, also expresses his excitement when he first found out that Wolfman was added to the team as a contracted writer for the game -"Yeessssss!," exclaims Freyermuth.

Wolfman explains the writing differences between comic books and video games. While writing comics, he says that he controls everything. When writing a video game, he has to take into account that the player is affecting things. He had to remember to give the player the items they need but give the player the freedom to go off and do things the way they want.

Freyermuth states that one of the main goals in Disney Epic Mickey 2 : The Power of Two is the player-direction within levels and how to focus the player towards the story goal.

Also introduced today on the official Facebook page, is HORACE. You will remember his face from the early Mickey cartoons and is described on the page as, "One of Mickey’s earliest and best pals. He is a versatile guy, smart and a little full of himself, he is also a bit dense and stubborn to a fault. But beware the trouble doer when he becomes focused on a case..."
