The rhythm based 3DS game, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy is basically a nostalgic musical journey through the series from its humble beginnings to its current musical prowess. Square Enix is supporting its game with weekly DLC music tracks to expand the musical experience.
Available today is "Somnus", from the yet to be released Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Maybe that entails some hope that Square Enix will release the game sometime within the decade? I don't know. Interpret the tracks inclusion in the game as you will. Also included in this week's DLC is "Desperate Struggle" from Final Fantasy XIII, "Sarutabaruta" from Final Fantasy XI, and "Battle", from Final Fantasy VI. Each track is available for download at 99 cents each.
In the next two weeks you can expect to see more DLC tracks from the following games: III, VII, IX, X, XI, XIII and XIII-2.
