Tiny is a man on a mission, a mission of retrieval. It seems that Big, the arch-nemesis to Tiny, has stolen the only thing that Tiny's grandpa had left him, a pair of ribbed underpants. Tiny's journey first leads him a lonesome desert-y area. Filled with a completely destructible environment, Tiny is going to have to pull out everything he has to find Big and reclaim those Underpants!
Within the first hour of the game you are introduced to all three of these tools through a game on the near dead Virtual Boy. Complete with music that annoyingly loops like the games of yester-decade the game within a game will guide you through the seemingly simple mechanics that I get a feeling will get a lot more complex before the games finale.
Another thing that peaks my personal interest is the art direction the team behind the game took in bring this universe to life. Everything is drawn with sort-of a MeGusta type style in mind, so the entire hour or two I spent playing this, I felt like I was in an internet trolls wet-dream. All the colouring was done with cell-shading giving this unique game a familiar comic book feel.
Simple story, simple gameplay, and an unique outlook of the world are all good ways to start off a mission of retrieval and we look forward to playing the rest of this game.
