Courtesy of Gizmodo, we have a first look at Lego's Lord of The Rings characters, which are set to release this summer. Included will be creatures such as Orcs and Uruk-hai, and even Smeagol Gollum. Lest we forget the entire Fellowship of The Ring, who are also all accounted for...even Boromir.
Nothing has been confirmed as far as a Lego LoTR game is concerned, but it's not that farfetched to imagine one coming soon down the pipeline. With Lego video games from the likes of Star Wars, Batman, Indiana Jones and more having already been done in the past, and the first Hobbit film releasing this December, it's not only not out of the realm of possibility, but I'd venture so far as to say it's very likely. Just a hunch, though. Nothing is confirmed yet. Hopefully one day down the line we can all look back on this article, having gone There and Back Again, and laugh with joy as we fight digital Lego Uruk-hai on our consoles.
