As much of a Nintendo fan as I am and as much as people expect me to say this. I really believe Nintendo will blow us away with the Wii-U this year. There were complaints that the system was lackluster, less powerful and so forth. Gearbox is no developer to just brush off as they have created one of the most memorable games, Borderlands. Gearbox are now working on Aliens: Colonial Marines and have stated that the Wii-U version is the best looking version due to the system having more modern tech. An interview was held with Gearbox by Eurogamer regarding the Wii-U version of the game
[Creating the Wii U version] has been pretty easy," he told Eurogamer. "The Wii U is a powerful, powerful machine and it can do a lot of cool new things. And so the game itself, moving it over to work on the Wii U was not much of a chore.
