    Epic's Gears of War series had a wild and operatic opening chapter in the trilogy's first game. It felt new, was jarringly violent, and arguably could have plowed the final nail in the coffin for first person shooters. The sequels that followed were indeed a splendid bunch, but none could quite recapture the first visceral taste of chainsaw meets Locust elbows.
    If you go to sleep dreaming of Marcus Fennix and General Raam's wedding, this announcement is for you: Gears Of War Judgement launches in the U.S. on March 19th, 2013. The story will relegate Fennix to an unwritten fable and instead focus on the the orgins of fan favorites Corporal Baird and Agustus Cole. I anticipate this change of character scenery will make no one long for its release any less. The blood spills in bucketloads this coming March.
