• Kinect Being Added to Skyrim

You read right, the move has begun. First it happened with Mass Effect 3. Now, the next big game title out in the market right now, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim gets Kinect support. Thanks to Bethesda Blog they've announced that the Kinect on Xbox 360 will be supported on Skyrim's next FREE title update, hopefully later this month.

The update is going to be including over 200 voice commands. Part of that will be the favored Dragon Shouts. If your mom thought you were weird before when you would be putting on your battle robes for your next LARP session, now she'll be in for a treat when your shouting obscenities in another language! Sweet. The remaining voice commands will allow you to set up the functionality of your game experience. With being able to manage your Hotkey Equipping, Follower Commands, and also the Menus for Items, Magic, Barter, Container, Favorites, and Skills. That's a lot of flexibility coming from voice commands and hopefully it comes naturally during play.

With the new integration with the Kinect comes also exclusive features. Only on the Xbox 360 with Kinect, you'll be getting additional hotkey items, special map features, and given the ability to sort your items by their characteristics. Characteristics that include weight, value, and of course by name.

All these features can be seen in the video provided below, from Bethesda Blog. It's very exciting and epic to watch it in action.

It looks like interactive gaming is making an impact, and I for one hope that train keeps going. I can't wait to see the further capabilities of the Kinect come out and how they are integrated into future games and updates. Game on!!
