Square Enix’s upcoming PSP release continuing the Kingdom Hearts story has finally been given an official US release date.
Titled Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep this new game will serve as a prequel to the original games story. Set long before Sora every picks up a keyblade, Birth by Sleep tells the story of three youths named Terra, Ventus, and Aqua whom are all training under Master Eraqus to prove they exhibit the Mark of mastery.
They soon find themselves mixed up in something far greater however, when another Keyblade Master named Xehanort goes missing and a crisis affecting all of the different worlds begins.
Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep is set for release September 7th, 2010 in the US and has been available in Japan since January 9th, 2010. For more information about the game visit the Official Site.
