• Kojima Productions is Hiring for the Next Metal Gear Solid

It's up to you, the reader, to decide what the bigger story here is: the fact that Kojima Productions is hiring(you may be in the field of game design and this opportunity could interest you) or that there's even further confirmation of a new Metal Gear Solid title coming in the future. In a posting on their website, KojiPro states their need for all sorts of positions at the company. They will be attending the Game Developers Conference from March 6-9, looking to fill an assortment of positions, including:

      - Project engineers for the latest Metal Gear Solid targeted for high-end consoles and PC
      - Engineers to help develop next-gen game engine technology for use with the "FOX Engine."
      - Kojima Productions Brand Manager

What's more relevant to Metal Gear fans like myself, was the inclusion of a new piece of art by Yoji Shinkawa, which seems to depict Big Boss in uniform, wearing a patch on his right arm that looks like it says "Diamond Dogs." Your guess is as good as mine.

Will the FOX Engine be featured in the next Metal Gear Solid installment on consoles? Will Big Boss be making the jump from the portable scene back to 'high end consoles and PC'? After MGS: Peace Walker ends and the original Metal Gear begins, there's still around 20 years of timeline left to fill in with Big Boss-y goodness, so let the speculation begin.

I admit, another MGS game I would purchase like a fanboy. You know, without actually taking into consideration reviews and critiques. I just hope this isn't gonna be like a MGS 5.1 or something with the exact same mechanics and features. Even so, I wonder what new stuff will we see in the next game? I am surprised that they are actually looking to develop this game for the PC. Asking the Japanese to port over their console game is like asking them to commit seppuku with a frisbee.
