'Lightning Saga' has been a term flying around the internet lately- with Square Enix planning an announcement for its 25th anniversary event, some have guessed that this must be the name of a new game in the Fabula Nova Crystallis series. A teaser site promised that "fans will also have the opportunity to learn about the new details about the direction of Lightning's story" at the FINAL FANTASY Experience event, but just to clear up rumors before then, Square Enix's Yoshinori Kitase hopped onto Twitter to explain things.
Lightning Saga will not be the name of the game announced days from now, but it is a title referring to the content revolving around the story of the pink-haired bad-ass central character Lightning. We -will- get the title of the new game/project at the Tokyo stage event, however. Kitase has also been trying to communicate to English audiences, despite not speaking the language fluently- his posts come courtesy of Google translations.
Hey, wait, isn't Square supposed to have something for this?
