• LittleBigPlanet 2 is "toy-like" in 3D, says Sony

Sony confirms a more realistic Sackboy with LittleBigPlanet 2 in 3D. CEE senior director Mike Hocking explains that it looks as though you can just reach up and grab things when he saw 3D effects placed on LBP2. Although nothing has been announced about adding the 3D technology to the title, he did get to experience it. "We've done some R&D with the game and it looks stunning in 3D," Hocking told VideoGamer.com at gamescom.

So before you jump out of your seats, the announcement has not come. However, why would he be seeing it in 3D? "It looks toy-like. It looks like you can grab things in the game. The guys haven't announced what they are doing yet, but if they did it would be stunning in 3D."

North America will see LittleBigPlanet 2 hit shelves on November 16, with some great pre-order bonuses announced, not to mention, a Collector's Edition. Plus, don't forget a beta is in the works!
