Now that EA and Bioware have done everything they can to 'make good' with fans outraged by Mass Effect 3's ending(releasing three free multiplayer expansion packs plus the 'Extended Cut' storyline DLC), it's time to move on to bigger things.
Revealed today at EA's Summer Showcase was the "Leviathan" DLC, which had been leaked a while back. Also coming with "Leviathan" is a Firefight Pack which adds seven brand new weapons to the singleplayer campaign. A trailer was shown at the event with no release date given other than "This Summer."
As was revealed in the leak, "Leviathan" revolves around a rogue Reaper taking control of a mining facility. Shepard and his crew are called into action to rescue a scientist named Ann Brynson, and it's possible to recruit the Reaper to add to your war assets for the final fight.
EA also went into details about the Wii U version of ME3, and all information can be found here on the Bioware Blog.
