• Microsoft Launches Android Game

Microsoft has brought the Kinect game, Kinectimals, to Android users. The app runs for $2.99 and allows the cuddliness to continue on the go.

      The description reads:

This irresistible mobile experience gives you the chance to use your phone to vist the island of Lemuria and play with, care for and fall in love with your very own cub. Bring your pet with you wherever you go! If you've already experienced Kinectimals on Kinect for Xbox 360, your phone becomes the key to unlocking five new cubs on your console. Stand-alone mobile game features Kinectimals' signature visual quality, delightful animation and brand new ways to play with your cub!
This may have been something I would pass up, but I have a 5-year old that I think would love it. If this is the only way to get Xbox 360 games on the go so far, at least it's something. It just still disturbs me that there is no handheld system for Microsoft. Come on, Sony and Nintendo are doing it well.

Just yesterday, the My Xbox Live app for iOS and Android has been updated to control your Xbox 360. Eurogamer shares that the app now allows the iOS version to "now connect to your Xbox 360, allowing you to launch games and apps from your mobile device. You can also play, pause and rewind videos."

The app is finally available to Android users, via Google Play, and of course it is free.
