• Mirror's Edge 2 Still in EA's Thoughts

Mirror's Edge was released back in 2008 from developer DICE. It was a unique take on the First-Person genre of games giving you control of Faith, a courier who carries communications and information around the city. What set Mirror's Edge apart from other First Person Action Adventure games was its style of gameplay.

Executive producer Patrick Bach was reported in an IGN interview that Mirror's Edge is a property "we love, and of course we haven't killed it, because it's too good to kill."

EA president Frank Gibeau has also been quoted for saying "We love Faith. We love the property. It's really about how and when do you bring it back? It's on the list. It's just about looking at what teams are available, who's got the right quality approach to it, and who understands it."

This isn't the first time a Mirror's Edge 2 has been talked about. At E3 2011, interviews with Frank Gibeau state that Mirror's Edge 2 could be running on the Frostbite 2 engine.

What do you guys think of a possible Mirror's Edge 2? What did you think of the first game? Sound off in the comments.

Gibeau says that the game is still on the list. We know it's coming but it seems that they have it on the back burner because there are other money makers that take priority over art. It has a cult following and I'm just waiting for them to finally just announce it already. Unfortunately, this awesome game gives me motion sickness.
