• NetherRealm and Warner Bros. Announce New DC Universe Fighting Game

Mortal Kombat creator and NetherRealm Studios developer Ed Boon has been teasing a new title for a while now. After MK's great success last year, everyone was curious as to what NRS would be up to for 2012, and today we finally know: a new fighting game starring DC Universe characters such as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and more.

Sound familiar? It should. Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe was 2008's less-than-stellar entry from NRS, and it seems as though Warner Bros. has tasked them with returning DC to the fighting game community. Injustice: Gods Among Us seems to be going for an edgier look and feel, however, and the debut trailer looks pretty cool.

Considering the comments on youtube, there are alot of people who are no very happy about this game.

I mean, yeah... A T-Rated MK game wasn't a smart move, but it was still a good game in spite of that technical standpoint. In spite of that, I am interested to see where this will go and just how they are going to make it so that non super powered people like batman and Quinn can get uppercut straight into space without getting killed or go flying through a building and get back up as if it was nothing...

and I know it is way early, but there better be some Joker in this game too: He completes Batman.
