The Metroid Blast attraction for Nintendo Land was demoed, showing two players taking to the skies and the ground to defeat the enemies. The player uses motion to aim their weapons. There are two additional modes in the Metroid Blast attraction of Nintendo Land: Ground vs Airs and a ground only multiplayer free for all.

One more team attraction for Nintendo Land was announced today and that was Pikmin Adventure.

New Super Mario Bros. U will be available at launch. You can play as your Mii and two new modes were announced. The Boost Rush Mode will have the players racing to complete scrolling levels as fast as they can. There will be challenges that will be various objective-based mini-levels.

You can watch trailers on the GamePad while a movie is playing on your television. Sports, TV, movies, your favorite shows - they will all be there. The Search and Favorites options makes it easier to find what you are looking for. Every family member can have their own settings on Wii TVii, or opt not too. You will be able to share and comment the highlight through Facebook and Twitter. Sports will take on a whole new social media role with the ability to share stats, players, scores, and the highlights are still being captured if you are on the system. Nintendo TVii is going to be included in every Wii U system, at no extra cost to the consumer.

We all knew that Platinum Games was working on games for the Wii U. We also have always heard about Hadeki Kamiya teasing us with a sequel to Bayonetta. Now we know that we will see more of her in the near future, other than her appearance in Anarchy Reigns, as Bayonetta 2 was finally announced! This had to have been my personal hightlight of the conference. It will be exclusive to the Nintendo Wii U and will also be published by Nintendo. Wonderful 101 by Platinum Games was also revealed.

March, of next year, will bring Monster Hunter 3 to the Wii U. It will be playable on both the Wii U and the 3DS!

Activision's Eric Hershberg took the stage to talk about what is coming to the system from Activision. Skylanders Giants, Wipeout 3, 007 Legends, Transformers Prime: The Game all announced by Activision. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 from Treyarch was also shown as a live demo. If it's one thing I learned about consoles is it's usually best to not pick them up on release since they are usually buggy and over priced. But the PS3 did have its backwards PS2 and PSone compatibility removed. . . nah Nintendo wouldn't pull a dick move like that right?
