Prepare to bid farewell to the Aqua Blue Nintendo 3DS units. According to Nintendo Japan, the aqua colored units' production will end soon, with no specified time at this point. Nintendo has paraded a multitude of new colors for their latest handheld console, ranging from pink to purple to a darker cobalt blue. Aqua, one of the first original shades for the 3DS, had a short run. Will Aqua become a new collector's item, similar to the Ice Blue Gameboy? We'll just have to wait and see.
