    Nintendo previously said that they were working on a new 2D Mario game as part of their standard business practice to rake in fat buckets of cash. No one at this point knows if it will be Wii-U or 3DS that will get the game or maybe even both but Nintendo has trademarked "Super Mario 4", keep in mind not Super Mario Bros. 4 but Super Mario 4 whatever this means. For those who don't already know Super Mario Bros. 4 came out already and was renamed Super Mario World for the states so we never really saw a Super Mario Bros. 4. We did in fact get the New Super Mario Bros series and while very good just didn't feel the same as previous 2D entries. Could Nintendo be pulling a Sega and finally bringing a sequel to the SMB games as Sega did with Sonic the Hedgehog 4? We will probably soon find out as E3 sneaks around the corner.
