It's been over a month since Kid Icarus: Uprising released in stores and I'm still enamored with it. I learned too soon that there was an anime for Kid Icarus before the game released and that it could be found on the Nintendo Video application for the 3DS.
Good news. Nintendo Video is bringing back the anime for you to enjoy. There are three different art studios who put their unique spin on the anime series. I enjoyed them all. With three groups of artists are three anime adventures: Thanatos Rising, Palutena's Revolting Dinner, and Medusa's Revenge.
The actors who voice their respective characters in the game also return to supply their voice talent for the anime. The art direction in each episode is beautiful. From classic anime of the 90s, to CGI action. Each captures the humor and action oriented approach of Kid Icarus: Uprising. Definitely check them out on your 3DS, or the only other way to see it is someone's recording on YouTube. Enjoy!
