The Persona 4 Universe is Looking Better than EVER
Now is a good time as ever to be a Persona 4
fan in fact I dare say it is the best time considering the universe is expanding with not just one game but two- a verses fighting game called The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena
and a port of the original game to the PlayStation Vita. While this one is actually being held as a remake where as Persona 3
had been ported to the PSP with the option of playing as a female character rather than "remaking" the whole game. So if you haven't played the original PS2 version of Persona 4
you really should. It is a really good game story wise but if I go any further I may spoil the game... also there's an anime adaptation that finished not too long ago that was pretty canonical to the game that recently finished if you want something to watch while waiting for these two games to come to America.
Beatboxtaun broke the news about Persona 4: Arena
back in February
. You can check a few images and the official announcement from Irvine, CA in her post. Since then a single player mode has been revealed which can be seen in these two launch clips for the mode thanks to Atlus and Arc System Works. The first is an animated cut scene while the second is some character dialogue. Both of them are still in Japanese though:
Two new trailers for Persona 4: The Golden
, a port/ remake of Persona 4 coming to the Vita, surfaced recently. The first one is a "dark" trailer and the second is a "pop" or I should say brightly colored and happy trailer. Nothing wrong with either trailer as both reveal parts of the story and some game play. Both of these are also still only in Japanese:
I'm not going to lie. I've been a die hard fan of the Persona
series since I played through Persona 3
for the first time on PS2. Since then I've played several other games in the Megami Tensei
series which Persona
is a branch of. I'm super excited to get my hands on both of these games.
