      PlayStation Gamescom 2012 brought a lot of great news to the fans today! I am here to highlight the event and all the major announcements!

      Let's get started!

      When you purchase PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale on the PlayStation 3, you will receive the PS Vita title at no extra charge. Sly Cooper and Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault purchased for the PS3, will also get you the PS Vita version at no charge. From launch to this holiday, over 60 titles available for PS Vita by the end of this year, including Need for Speed: Most Wanted and FIFA 13

      Assassin's Creed: Liberation trailer shown and looks absolutely stunning!

      They discussed a bit of Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified. PS Vita players can play modes like Team Deathmatch and Kill Confirmed. To release in November, a Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified bundle has been announced:

      • Pouch
      • Game
      • A special back-touch screen
      • And the PS Vita, of course!


      Alex Evans from Media Molecule announced a new IP for the PS Vita! Tearaway features a new character, IOTA. He has a message especially for you that is so important. Your job is to get him out of Tearaway to the real world. The player will feel a connection to the world and feel its actual paper setting. Although IOTA is made of paper, he is very strong. Using the back and front touch screen, players can get IOTA through the stages. His journey is in the palms of your hand to get him into our world.

      Killzone Mercenary announced for PS Vita.

      PlayStation Mobile announced that will release this autumn. The Android platform, tablet, PS3, and PS Vita can be used to game. Buy your game once and play on all certified mobile devices. ASUS and Wikipad have been added to the group of companies.

      Exclusive DLC for Assassin's Creed III will be available for the PS Vita.

      Cross-Controller DLC coming to LittleBigPlanet 2 that will allow the player to use the PS Vita as the controller for the PS3. The dual analogues, front and rear touch, and the PS Vita screens will offer a greater LBP gaming experience! Make cross-control games yourself! Multiplayer opens up many gameplay opportunities.

      PlayStation Plus is what they are putting a great deal of focus on right now. Red Dead Redemption will be the game of the month. PlayStation Plus is increasing the Cloud save for members from 150MB to 1GB. From September 5th, for two weeks, will be available at a 25% discount to users in Europe.

      Michael Denny onstage to talk about Wonderbook. Diggs Nightcrawler announced for the game. Detective-like title to engage the entire family. BBC's Walking with Dinosaurs promises to give a dinosaur experience like no other. Also announced for Wonderbook is Disney's collaboration to allow stories to be shared for the game.

      Fifa 13 is announced with Move functionality. No two matches ever being the same. Fans can connect, compete, and share with others. The Move controller will offer great new attacking motions by painting paths on the screen. Fifa 13 releases on September 25th.

      Until Dawn announced as one of the three new IPs being announced today. Contains all the elements of a classic horror story of seven young adults at a cabin in the middle of nowhere. Play as each of the seven teens trying to survive the eventful night, using the Move support.

      The second game announced is Rain. "A boy awakes to see a girl's silhouette in the rain. He finds himself lost in a mysterious world." His siholette can only be seen in the rain. It is a story of an invisible world revealed by the rain.

      The third game announced is Puppeteer. "It's not like anything you've seen before." It takes place in a magical theater. Rather than the player moving, the stage moves. The boy's journey begins when the boy runs into a magical pair of scissors and realises that he controls the world.

      Beyond: Two Souls and The Last of Us are reminded to be much anticipated. New Last of Us Trailer shown that really shows how the world has changed.

      The show ends with a trailer for Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified.
