      Nintendo has announced the latest installment to the Pokemon franchise, and have made new bedfellows in the process. No strangers to crossovers, Tecmo-Koei and Nintedo have teamed up to combine Pokemon with the warriors of feudal Japan featured in Samurai Warriors, more approriaptely the lesser known, not as popular Nobunaga's Ambition. Titled Pokemon+ Nobunaga’s Ambition, the game is being showcased at the Japanese event Jump Festa 2012 on December 17th and 18th. The game is scheduled to be released for the Nintendo DS in Japan during the spring, with no news as of yet of a release abroad.

        I would actually play the hell out of this. I'm a huge fan of Koei's games...and Pokemon can be fun too. And they have brought over some other offbeat Pokemon titles that faired well. Hopefully, with any luck, it gets an overseas release.
