An animated promotional trailer for Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 has been uploaded to the official Pokemon YouTube channel later. The trailer features the new male trainer from BW2 on his Pokemon journey. N opens the promo by stating something while a silhouette flies over him. The trailer then cuts to the male trainer obtaining his starter Pokemon, encountering a scientist that dislikes Team Plasma's ideals, challenging Elesa at her gym, and teaming up with Cheren to fight Plasma and the Shadow Triad. As you may know Cheren and Bianca were the rivals in the first game. They now play different roles with Bianca as Juniper's assistant, and Cheren as the new Normal type gym leader.
Along with this trailer, different locations and story elements from the previous post are now confirmed from CoroCoro. The World Tournament is a place where you can fight gym leaders, Elite Four members, and other major characters from Pokemon history. So far Misty, Steven, Gary, Giovanni, Brock, Volkner, Cynthia, Janine, Blaine, Erika, Lt. Surge, and Lance are confirmed. Similar to the Battle Frontier, you can choose to fight in Singles or Doubles matches. More Trainers will be made available to fight by downloading them through the Nintendo WiFi Connection.
Another new area known as PokeWood allows you to create movies and gain popularity depending on how well you make them. Not to many details about PokeWood have been released, although it does seem to be replacing the Pokemon Musicals. As for new story elements, no one seems to know where N has gone, in 2 years half of the Unova region has frozen over, and Team Plasma has begun to resurface.
Two new Pokemon apps will be coming to the 3DS soon. The Pokemon AR Searcher will allow you to search your surroundings using the 3DS camera and catch Pokemon that you see. This is the only way the alternate forms of Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus can be caught. The Pokedex 3D Pro will be an upgrade to the existing Pokedex app, but it will contain every single Pokemon to date.
