If you still haven't played Rayman Origins, stop what you're doing and immediately go get yourself a copy of the game. In my opinion it was absolutely the best platform game of 2011. Its sequel, Rayman Legends will more than likely surpass the awesomeness of the first game. Ubisoft brought back classic side-scrolling with a bang.
Well, it's official that Rayman Legends will be a Wii U exclusive. No plans are being considered to bring the game to the competing consoles. This was officially announced yesterday at Gamescom. In addtion a special Gamescom trailer has been released for the game, which you can see below.
However, the biggest piece of news here is that it looks like we have a look at the official Rayman Legends box art, and what very well could be the design of the Wii U game casing. The advertisement above also states "Coming Christmas 2012." Can expect to see the game in December, or is this Ubisoft's way of saying "Holiday 2012"? In 2006, the Wii launched in late November. I'm predicting a November release. I don't know, but I hope Nintendo says something regarding the Wii U's launch soon. I need to make plans to camp out after all and if it's one game I want at launch it's Rayman Legends.
