The release date for Doom 3 BFG Edition has been announced. The Doom 3 BFG Edition will include re-mastered versions of Doom 3 and the Resurrection of Evil DLC, and 'The Lost Mission', which is seven new levels of content. It will also include the original Doom game, along with Doom II.
The new armor-mounted flashlight that allows you to illuminate dark corners and is said to also allow the player to blast enemies at the same time is a feature that will now be included in Doom 3.
North America can expect to see the Doom 3 BFG Edition for PC on October 16th for $29.99 and for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 for $39.99. Europe can expect to see it release a few days later on October 19th.
