Yesterday, it was reported that a Reddit User had leaked information for Playstation All Stars, and now today, it turns out that there was still alot more information from the leak than what was previously said. Alongside with the now counted total of 20 characters and now a total of 14 stages, we got more information on the items, game modes and "Minions".
So first off, let's look at the list of items: (16 in total)
Atomizer (Resistance 3)
Baumusu Axe (The Mark of Kri)
Boots of Hermes (God of War III)
Dohvat Laser Designator (Killzone 3)
Freeze Missile (Twisted Metal)
Golf Club (Hot Shots Golf)
Gravity Shield (WipeOut)
Hedgehog Grenade (Resistance)
Leech Beem (WipeOut)
Murder of Crows (BioShock Infinite)
Railgun (Metal Gear Solid 4)
Razor Claws (Ratchet & Clank)
RPG (Uncharted)
Scythe (Fat Princess)
Sonic Rift (ModNation Racers)
Spear (God of War)
This might not be a big number of items to select from, but considering how there were only 17 items in the first Smash Bros game, I have no complaints. Nice touch for also adding in 'The Mark of Kri' in there.
Next, let's look at the game modes:
Arcade Mode
Capture the Flag
Challenge Trials
Character Trials
Countdown Attack
Free Roam
General Trials
King of the Hill
LAN Game
Solo Play
There was also something about "Gold stars collected" which could be something about an 'in-game' trophy system, much like how smash bros gave you trophies for completing specific goals (as well as other kind of items mentioned like "Clue Bottles" and "Killer Bees"). Now for the game modes, this is interesting but also confusing to figure out. I mean, Arcade mode, Capture the Flag, and King of the Hill make sense, but what is "Challenge Trials" and how is it different from "Character Trials" and simply "General Trials"? Not to mention that we probably have no idea what "Countdown Attack" or "Free Roam" is. Also mentioned here was the AI difficulty, which instead of going from 1-9 is the following: Easy, Normal, Hard, & Insane.
Finally, we got "Minions," which doesn't really add up in my opinion. Why would you call them "Minions" if they are really just the NPCs that are seen in the stages? Anyway, here's the list:
Athena (God of War)
Captain Qwark (Ratchet & Clank)
Dollface (Twisted Metal)
Helghast (Killzone)
Kai (Heavenly Sword)
Kat (DMC)
Keira (Jak & Daxter)
Kiya (MediEvil)
Kuma (Tekken)
Little Sister (BioShock)
Monkey (Ape Escape)
Murray (Sly Cooper)
Nix (Infamous 2)
Pierre (Doko Demo Issho)
PJ Berri (Parappa the Rapper)
Sackbot (LittleBigPlanet 2)
Sam (Metal Gear Rising)
Sully (Uncharted)
Worker (Fat Princess)
Zeke (Infamous)
Now for those of you who have followed the game, you've probably seen a few of these characters already, such as Captain Quark gets eaten by a hydra and Murray & Kuma help out Sly and Heihachi as assist attack when they perform KO attacks. Therefore, there is a very good possiblity where these other characters shown will either be seen as guest characters on stages, or help out their playable counterparts in their attacks.
Once again, until Sony gives confirmation on this information, this could still be false, but considering the amount of information we got, this really could be what we will be seeing come October.
**Original Story**

With less than three months before the release of Playstation All-Stars battle Royale, it seems that a Reddit user by the name of 696Ly may have just given us the biggest leak since UMvC3's extra characters. As always, nothing is confirmed until it is confirmed, so take everything that is about to be shown with a grain of salt, because this could still be seen as a hoax. With that said, let's take look a look.
First off, let's look at that first picture up top: if you can look past all the "Leaks", you can see how there are 12 characters. We already know four of them already (Heihachi, Toro, Jak, and Cole), but the thing to look at here is the other eight. We have Ratchet, Sackboy, Sir Daniel Fortesque (MediEvil), Spike from (Ape Escape) and Nariko (Heavenly Sword). Interesting choices so far, but look at the other four: on the bottom right, we have what looks like an Evil Cole from infamous, Raiden in his attire for the upcoming Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, and Dante in the upcoming Ninja Theory's DMC attire. The reason why I left these three out is that they raise the most questions out of this "Character Leak."
1) Will there be "Alternate characters" to play as or more than one character per series?
2) If Raiden is in, does that mean Snake is out?
3) Will fans get angry that Emo Dante is getting in instead of the Dante we all know and love?
Again, seems interesting since for these two characters (Raiden and Dante) have not had their games released yet and yet this could be seen as a "Preview" of what they can do, much like the apprentice from Star Wars being a playable character in Soul Calibur 4 before Star Wars: Unleashed.
Along side with the characters, we also got "leaked stages" and while it is hard to say if they are actually real or very good looking fakes, no doubt that the layout of these stages does look real enough. Starting from top to bottom here are the stages: Black Rock Stadium (Twisted Metal), Paris (Sly Cooper), some kind of stage from Loco Roco, "Invasion" (Killzone), the previously known "Dreamscape" (LittleBig Planet), Alden's Tower (Infamous), "Stowaways" (Uncharted), "Timestation" (Ape Escape), "San Francisco", and finally Columbia from BioShock Infinite.

Once again, hard to say if this is real, especially since it doesn't make much sense of how a stage based on Bioshock Infinite gets added, and yet we do get Rapture. Another interesting thing is the "Ape Escape" stage, which does in fact look alot like the "leaked stage" from last week's article. What I am also concerned about is how the stages are organized. If you recall how the stages work, they start off with one theme, but then they get mixed into another stage but the layout is still the same (more or less). Outside of the possibility of Alden's Tower turning into "Invasion" (the storage containers could be a possible hint) or even Paris or Time Station turning into Black Rock Stadium, I can't see any possible matches here (let alone how they can be turned into a different stage). As said before, all of this could be one over-elaborate hoax, but if it is true, then we could have the majority of the information we will need to know for the upcoming game. Still no word on Spyro or Crash though.
Anyway, what do you guys think? Is this for real, or just an clever ruse to get the internet's attention? Either way, looks like Sony still can't catch a break when it comes to holding information from the public.
