With all this talk about PS:ASBR, we sometimes forget that Nintendo is still making Smash Bros 4. We know that Namco is helping to create it, we know that there will be new characters and we know that there will be two versions made for both the 3DS and the Wii U.
However! Did you know that everyone is going to get new moves?
Last time we heard of details for the upcoming brawler, it was stated that it won't feature any more characters than the previous game, which had a total 35 characters (or 39 if you count Shiek, Zero Suit Samus, and the three playable pokemon seperately). The reason behind this was so that the more characters you add, the more you would need to refine each one of them and distinguish their moves, something that can particularly difficult if you have dozens of characters. I mean, look at Mortal Kombat. I think they ran into a tricky situation when they go to Armageddon.

Can you imagine if Smash Bros had 62 playable characters? Would be awesome, but very overwhelming.
Anyway, while we will be getting "many new characters," it was revealed by the series director Masahiro Sakurai at the CEDEC video game developer confrerence in Japan, that all character will have new skills at their disposal. The reason behind this is to help refine the moveset for each character and could help with balancing issues in brawl and also fix the problems of clones.
So what could this mean? Does this mean that Ganondorf will actually fight with a sword? Are clone characters going to get the boot? Will Metaknight finally get "Nerfed" so that he can be allowed in Tournaments again?
This and many more questions will be revealed at a later time, for now though, what do you think about this sudden announcement? Just how much will the characters have their move sets changed? and will it be for the better... or for worse?
