If you didn't think that high-definition television could get any better, you're apparently dead wrong. Now in development are Ultra-High Definition TV sets up to 80 inches big, which are said to be able to boast formats that are four-to-eight times the resolution of current HDTV's. Whoa.
According to a report on Yahoo!, the next PlayStation(completely unannounced and unconfirmed) is part of the big picture(heh heh), and will support these ridiculous resolutions. Sony has been known to offer TV's to go along with their consoles, so this certainly makes sense. Just watch out for that price tag. It's probably gonna be mortifying.
