Skype to release this month for PS Vita

Looks like PS Vita owners will finally be getting their hands dirty with the Skype app at the end of this month. The app was briefly showed about a year ago, then nothing had been said since. The announcement was made when PlayStation Blog commenter asked “any sign of the Skype app for Vita”. The PS Store Team Member Jawad Ashraf replied with:

Not sure If I would ever really use the app, I mean I have it on my iPad, PC, and Android, but never have the need to use it. Maybe if it allowed you to Skype while playing your PS Vita, that way you can party chat with friends that don't have one.
