Several different websites have started reporting that Sony has officially listed the trademark for Team Ico's upcoming project, The Last Guardian as abandoned.
The website Trademarkia is showing that on August 6th, 2012, Sony had officially changed the listing for its trademark of The Last Guardian to "Abandoned - No Statement of used field"
The game has been long in development, being announced back in 2009 and delayed multiple times for years at a time, although during the whole process it was always reported as being "In production", the title had been absent from several major events and coverage events, such as E3 and TGS. No official statement has been given by Team Ico or Sony on whether the game has been cancelled or not, but this could potentially mean bad news for any Team Ico fans.
