• Sony announces price drop for PlayStation 3

      Sony has made a price drop announcement for the PlayStation 3 at Gamescom today. The PS3 will now be $50 less. The new prices will be $249.99 in the U.S., €249.99 in Europe and ¥24,980 in Japan.

      This new price is effective immediately and will apply to the 160GB model.
