You have to give one thing to Square, they fully back their online RPGs to no end. Even Final Fantasy XI to this day still receives treatment and with Final Fantasy XIV revision around the corner that should be no exception. Dragon Quest X is the first in the series to be an online experience for both the Wii and Wii-U and Square-Enix plans to support the game for ten years being the minimum. There will be updates and revisions to the game every 10 weeks to keep it fresh. The game will support a series of DLC that is unknown as of yet but as the game is focused on story quests that seems to be the likely route to go. For those hesitant on getting into an online game worried that it will die a little ways in, no need to fear, Square-Enix has your back on this one.
Thank you Andriasang for the info.
