The continuing cycle of if the Wii is good enough is an ongoing debate that has been proven by Gearbox and now Sumo who is developing Sonic All-Star Racing. Sumo have stated that the Wii U has much more memory which allows for less compression and games will look all nice and pretty like. Fear not the Wii U is just as capable if not way more than the current HD brothers that are in the market now. For those who really love Nintendo and are not too thrilled about the next huge graphical leap this may be one of the best investments. I for one am not too concerned about everything getting a major rehaul and am fine with the way consoles are at the moment. Give me some great looking Nintendo games and some stellar third-party titles and I am set. Here is a quote left by Steve Lycett of Sumo...
There are always surprises and unexpected challenges when you develop on a new console," said Lycett. "When we first got our hands on the kit, the first surprise was the capability of the GPU (Graphics Processing Unit). We'd been worried that we might need to re-engineer all the effects and shaders in the game, but they worked just fine.
