For those who feel that iOS is a gold mine for everything that it touches you might want to take a look at the statistics on that. 59% of all these apps that are on iOS don't even break even according to an App Promo survey.
"The App Store is very much like the lottery, and very few companies are topping the charts," Kafasis told Ars. "It's a hit-based business. Much like music or book sales, there are a few huge winners, a bigger handful of minor successes, and a whole lot of failures."
So while Angry Birds was a huge success as well as a couple of others it's no reason to fear mobiles and tablets taking over the market. Companies still need to put out a quality product to see any sort of profit or success. The thought process about apps was that if you put anything on iOS it would be an instant goldmine. Such is just not true as only over 40% of apps on the store including games and other non-gaming apps make a profit but to how much that profit is could be somewhere between little to nothing or a lot. Take a look at this chart to get a better idea of the scope of things.

Thank you Arstechnica for the info.
