• Taun Taun's Game Finds: Dreamcast Cake, New NCSX Link & Mario Toys, & Slime Gum

It's that time again, folks! It's Monday and what better way to ease yourself into the new week than some great game finds? Let's kick things off!

The first game find is a SEGA Dreamcast cake! The Dreamcast celebrated its birthday yesterday and while Sonic is drinking age, the Dreamcast has to wait about eight more years. This lovely image was spotted on Rebecca Sugar's Tumblr account. Sugar is the writer, artist, and composer of Adventure Time. Here is a larger image of the cake so you can see the details of all its splendor!

There are many great Dreamcast cakes, but this one tops the....ah well, you get the point. I see this and wish I would have picked up the Saturn and Genesis Zippos spotted a few years back.

Anyway, NCSX has some Nintendo 'Ultra Detail Figures up for pre-order. They include a Mario series and a Zelda series. They are 7cm tall (2.75") and are made of PVC.

Here are the details listed by NCSX for the Mario series:

Medicom has started reservations for three Mario toys in the company's 'Ultra Detail Figure Nintendo Series' lineup which includes an original Super Mario Brosrendition of the mustachioed plumber, a Super Mario Bros 3 Tanuki Marioversion, and a New Super Mario Bros Wii upgrade of Mario which all measure 7cm tall (2.75") and are made of PVC. Preorders are welcome to ship in January 2013 at JPY933 or US$14.90 per figure.
Here are the details listed by NCSX for the Zelda series:

Medicom has started reservations for three Zelda toys in the company's 'Ultra Detail Figure Nintendo Series' lineup which includes an original Legend of Zelda version of Link with what appears to be lazy eyes and a slack jaw, a Kaze no Takuto(Wind Waker) rendition of Link with oversize eyes and a frowning face, and finally a full grown version of Link from Skyward Swordwhich all measure 7cm tall (2.75") and are made of PVC. Preorders are welcome to ship in January 2013 at JPY933 or US$14.90 per figure.
Last up is just a little something cute I found while on my game find hunt. This Fit’s Magiq “Sour Slime & Lime” gum features Slime on the packaging. While it's not cheap to import, it is still a possibility to get your hands on and it's not insanely expensive. You can import it from J-List for $2.80 plus shipping per pack.

That's all for this Taun Taun's Game Finds! Until next time, enjoy your Monday!
