See this is what I like about Namco Bandai and how they handle DLC as opposed to how other developers who make fighting games handle it *clears throat*. If you've given any thought to pick up Tekken Tag Tournament 2: Wii U Edition then some rather good news has been announced for it.
The Wii U edition of the game will be including all DLC that has been (will be) released on the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game at the moment it makes its way to stores. That is, the Wii U version will include all character and stage DLC right in the box.
Concerning PS3 and Xbox 360 DLC, series producer Katsuhiro Harada says that "not all of the content that we've planned for the PS3 and 360 has been revealed yet, so there's still some stuff left."
With the game selling on these two consoles already, who else could possibly make the jump to the Wii U Edition? Recently we wrote an article featuring exclusive Nintendo themed costumes for the Tekken characters as well as a special game mode that involves Mini Mushrooms and regular Mushrooms from the Super Mario Bros. series that whimsically adds something new to the series. Even I'm considering that version.
