Wii U Sees Huge Sales Following Xbox One Reveal

The Xbox One reveal may have enticed the casual consumers, but the gamers sure felt like they were left in the dust. A whole lot of satire also popped up after the reveal, some saying the conference was largely about Kinect again (though it does play a larger role on this console), stuff about TV, music, etc, but not enough games. Where were the games? Aside from Forza 5 and Call of Duty: Ghosts?

So, hardcore gamers caught on, not liking what they saw (and what came after the reveal) and decided to give Microsoft the "talk to the hand" gesture. In their collective eyes,

Fire Emblem: Awakening Could Have Been the Last In the Series

Fire Emblem: Awakening may have saved the franchise by the skin of its teeth with good sales. The game's producer, Hitoshi Yamagami, in an interview with Hobby Consola (via the Serenes Forest forum), stated that less than stellar sales of Awakening could have resulted in the series' cancellation.

"No doubt. Truth be told, series sales are dropping," said Yamagami. "The sales manager of Nintendo, Mr. Hatano, told us that this could

GameStop CFO: Xbox One and PS4 Will Be Less Expensive At Launch

When PlayStation 3 launched in 2006 with a $600 price tag, the asking price was enough of a punch to the stomach for gamers. However, GameStop Chief Financial Officer Rob Lloyd doesn't think that history is going to repeat itself this coming holiday season. While neither Sony or Microsoft has officially announced launch prices for their new consoles, Lloyd predicts each console to start in the $300-$400 range, which would be a "lower opening price point than they did last cycle."

Furthermore, GameStop asserts they'll have a promising position in the sales of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One than compared to other

Epic Mickey 2 Drops On Vita June 18

It's no mystery that Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two sold poorly when it released late last year. Because of it, developer Junction Point was sadly shutdown. But if you consider yourself an avid handheld gamer, and you have a Vita, you might want to look into it when the game releases on June 18. Sadly, I picked up the Wii U version and I have nothing but criticism on top of more criticism to say about that version of the game. However, I have played the other versions of the game and it's not so bad.

Even if it's something to pass the time until the iconic mouse gets back on his feet in the

Forza 5 Box Art Reveals Xbox One Game Packaging

Were you wondering what the Xbox One game cases would look like? Forza 5 has already got the concept out the window. This was spotted on the official Forza Motorsport Twitter page. With the shift of the Xbox One using Blu-Ray Discs, the new Xbox One case looks similar to the aforementioned. That's another minor Xbox One mystery out of the way.
