Thread: Free Tribes Ascend Beta Key

You got a decent PC with a decent graphics card? If your computer meets the system requirements and you are really interested in playing the Tribes Ascend Beta let me know and I'll send it to ya.

Tribes Ascend is a fast paced FPS. If you are sick and tired of the same shooters *ahem Call of Duty* then this game might be up your alley.

Minimum requirements

OS: Windows XP SP2, Windows Vista or Windows 7
Processor: Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz or Althon X2 2.7 GHz
RAM: 2GB (XP), 3GB (Vista, Win7)
Graphic card: ATI or Nvidia graphics card with 512MB video ram or better and Shader Model 3.0+ support. (ATI Radeon 3870 or higher, Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT or higher).
Sound card: DirectX compatible sound card
Hard drive: 10 GB free

RAM: 4GB

Why am I getting a Halo vibe from this? I am interested in trying it out though. I recently got my Dell PC up and running. It works fairly well as a gaming computer as long as I keep it clean.

By that same logic if you clean the engine for a Geo Metro really well you can get 400 horsepower out of it lol. Sorry, I couldn't resist the urge to make a sarcastic joke.

I'm pretty sure you have the 10 Gigabytes of hard drive space, and hopefully at least 4 gigs of ram but you can get by with two. You got at least windows vista installed on that right? Maybe even 7?

Go to computer (or my computer) and right click on it. Select properties. Then below the section labeled system it will list some of your specs like your processor, RAM, and whether you are running a 32 or 64bit system.

THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT. The graphics card is one of the most important things when it comes to running PC games. Go to contol panel. Then hardware and sound. Then device manager. Then click on display adapters. It may not tell you what specific graphics card you are running but at least it tells you what series (for example mines in the radeon 6900 series).

I know it feels like I'm making you work to give you the beta key I just don't want to give the key to someone who cant even run it at all on their computer and screw over someone else whose PC meets the system requirements.

It's ok. From what I can tell the website is open beta... well it let me register.

It's ok. I wouldn't give a key to someone who wasn't going to be able to use it either.
