    Wasn't worth the hype

Whats up guys its my first time posting. I asked my friends last night if they ever got so excited for a game and it let them down. The kind of preview or hype that kept you from thinking about anything else only to be disappointed. So has it happened to you guys? Did you think you found El Dorado only to find it was a pile of Fererro Roche wrappers?

Duke Nukem, I think it broke all of our hearts. I wanted this game so bad and had great expectations since it Gearbox was involved. Then word started leaking and then came the reviews....I'll be honest with you, I saw this game for $9 and felt that it was $5 too much.

Right now I think It's the complete opposite with the Vita. Everyone thinks it's going to bomb and have low expectations about it, while I'm so super hyped I can't stop thinking about it. Now I hope that the Vita doesn't belong in this thread once I get my hands on it, but we'll all see very soon.

Oregon Trail 3DS... I cried myself to sleep when I saw the gameplay video.

I was actually tempted to get it, but seeing this immediately put me on my toes.

It's your call. Personally, I wanted to love this game. Old elementary school memories wanted me to defend this game from all the nonbelievers, but it's not worthy of the name "Oregon Trail". Same with that dinosaur game.
